Day 71~77
On the last week of internship, I was still working in Cosmetic Department. The jobs were almost same as last two weeks, but there were some difference which was I was allocated to work in the office with Mr. Alan who was the Cosmetic Department's Executive. I felt lucky because I learnt a lot of extra knowledge from him such as there is a system called Business To Business (B2B) system which keys in the orders into system and at the same time it directly transfers to the supplier system. Parkson provides for suppliers with monthly charges. It was a good system that could make order more efficient because it eliminates a number of unnecessary processes.
Also, I had known from Mr. Alan that Parkson was doing a sale called Bulk Sale, which was to sell the products at certain amounts with 15% discount, to some specific customers who has a good relationship with Parkson.
On the last day of internship, five of us were consulted and evaluated by Mr. Murali (Internship Supervisor) one by one.
Consulting
After consulting and getting all the documents that needed from Mr. Murali, five of us were going around to take photos with all the departments staffs. Also, there was a promoter had made a cake for us to share. She was really such a good colleague that I really appreciated.
